Musician-mountaineer by self-definition, the Veneto violoncellist is at home in the Trentino mountains. Here, over the years, he has been heard together with Marco Paolini, Vinicio Capossela, Claudio Fasoli, Margherita Hack, Paolo Fresu, Danilo Rossi and others. And here he is more at ease than in the most important concert halls. "The audience in the Dolomites is the most receptive in the world", says the famous musician. "Meeting these people and playing for them is perhaps the best thing I’ve ever done".
