Making their debut at I Suoni delle Dolomiti in 2024, the two young talents in this violin and viola duo have already proved a big hit on stages all over the world. They will perform works by Mozart, Paganini, Dvorak, Martinu, Halvorsen and Sollima at 2,410 m above sea level on Col Bel, in Val di Fassa. The sweeping 360° views encompass all the main peaks in the Dolomites, from the Rosengarten (Catinaccio) group to Marmolada.
Clarissa Bevilacqua is a violinist who enchants audiences with her exceptional musicianship and astonishing technical prowess. She was awarded a Bachelor of Music at the age of 16, then completed a Master of Music in Violin Performance at Mozarteum University in Salzburg. In 2023, she opened Mozart Week with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg.
Acclaimed by The New York Times for her probing introspection and by The Philadelphia Inquirer for her “voluptuous tone”, violist Vicki Powell has performed as a soloist with various orchestras and taken part in numerous festivals. She is the recipient of a Gold Award in Music from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts.
