Unique scenery

The Brenta is a mountain group of exceptional naturalistic value, also due to the fact that it is located far from large population centres and the main communication routes. It is part of the Rhaetian Alps and is the only UNESCO Dolomite site entirely in Trentino, located west of the Adige Valley, thus outside the traditional Dolomite region. This imposing chain stretches across the western part of Trentino, including the Giudicarie Valleys, Val Rendena, Val di Sole and Val di Non.

For those who love the mountains and their activities, the Brenta Dolomites represent a true paradise: no less than eight peaks rise above 3,000 metres, and most of them exceed 2,500 metres. These mountains are also of primary importance for the history of mountaineering, thanks to some peaks that have become world famous, such as Campanil Basso, Crozzon di Brenta, Cima Tosa and Cima Brenta.
