Born in Sicily and later relocating to Turin and then Milan, Anna Castiglia is more than a promise—she has become a certainty in the new wave of Italian singer-songwriters. Her debut album, Mi piace, won the Targa Tenco Opera Prima award, moving between irony and a taste for experimentation across a wide and varied musical landscape that blends pop, samba, swing, and rhythm and blues.
After appearing on X Factor, she performed at the May 1st Concert and opened for artists such as Max Gazzè and Carmen Consoli, confirming her talent in live performance. In 2025, MEI, the prestigious Italian independent music festival, named her Emerging Artist of the Year.
A versatile artist, her dream is to combine multiple artistic disciplines and develop her writing skills—both musical and lyrical—also in theater, film, and musical productions. She embraces a certain idea of Broadway, incorporating tap dance and theatrical styling into her shows.
