Banda Osiris

La Banda Osiris: a harmonious madness of musical comedy!

Founded in Vercelli in 1980 as a project by brothers Gianluigi and Roberto Carlone, the group pays homage in its name to the famous “Divina” Wanda Osiris. Giancarlo Macrì and Mario Sgotto soon joined the band, with Sgotto being replaced in 1986 by Sandro Berti.

From the streets to the theaters, La Banda Osiris captivates audiences with its unmistakable style: irresistible rhythm, endless surprises, and a dash of good-natured irony.

Over their rich and prolific career, they have staged shows such as Storia della Musica and Le Quattro Stagioni da Vivaldi, appeared on television programs, and created radio jingles. Their soundtrack for the film Primo Amore won numerous awards, including the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and the David di Donatello. They have also collaborated extensively with prominent artists — for example, the album Banda.25 features collaborations with Fiorello, Petra Magoni, Stefano Bollani, Ska-J, Tiziano Scarpa, Frankie Hnrg, Riccardo Tesi, Monica Demuru, and the Quartetto Euphoria.

A perpetual journey across diverse genres: not just music, but true sonic and visual experiences!
