Pianist and mountaineer Chiara Schmidt was born in Milan, where she studied at the conservatory, before moving to Vienna and finally to the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Today, she also teaches in the city at the Musikum, while continuing to pursue her passion for mountains and climbing, all the while aware of how important it is for a pianist to protect her hands.
