Quinn Christopherson

From the wide-open spaces of Alaska, a singer-songwriter who weaves voices, atmospheres, and emotions with his guitar

Quinn Christopherson is a singer-songwriter from Anchorage, Alaska, the youngest of four children born to Native parents (part Athabaskan and part Iñupiat).

He inherited his passion for storytelling primarily from his maternal grandmother, a central figure in his life. He has lived—and later translated into poetry and songs—the experience of being constantly labeled, yet his art goes beyond any definition.

He discovered music at the age of 20 with a guitar gifted by his father, and soon began performing live alongside multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Carpenter.

In 2022, he released Write Your Name in Pink, weaving together melodies, voices, and atmospheres to tell stories of family, neighborhood, and themes of growth and the search for identity. In his biggest hit, Erase Me, he shares his experience as a transgender man and reflects on his relationship with the privileges of male gender.
