The valley is curiously arranged on two large and successive plains, called Brenta Bassa and Brenta Alta, separated from each other by the rocky staircase of the “Brenta staircase”, which the stream overcomes creating picturesque waterfalls.
Malga Brenta Bassa is a magnificent natural amphitheater, bordered by large larches and firs in the heart of Val Brenta, overlooking the central area of the Brenta Dolomites and the Crozzòn di Brenta and home to a casina (Malga Brenta Bassa), which preserves the original plant and the ancient hearth.
