Jack Savoretti

A British singer-songwriter with Italian citizenship, born in 1983 and raised between Switzerland and the United States, Jack Savoretti is a true “citizen of the world,” whose raw and heartfelt voice has captivated artists such as Kylie Minogue, Zucchero, and Natalie Imbruglia.

His debut album, Between the Minds, was released in 2007. On that occasion, the British press went so far as to compare him to Bob Dylan—both for his voice-and-acoustic-guitar setup and for the lyrical depth of his songs. Many tracks from the album were featured in popular American and British TV series such as Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, and EastEnders, something that would become a recurring theme throughout his career.

His next album, Harder Than Easy, was recorded in Los Angeles with some of Tom Waits’s musicians and the band The Suppliers. It reached number 18 on the UK iTunes chart and number 20 on Amazon UK. Several of his later releases climbed to the top of the UK charts, solidifying his reputation as a “nomadic” singer-songwriter with a strong poetic sensibility.

His latest album, Miss Italia, was released in 2024. That same year, he appeared at the 2024 Sanremo Music Festival during the covers night, performing Fabrizio De André’s Amore che vieni, amore che vai alongside Diodato.
