The Pian de Jiadoes, with its wide grassy expanses, will host the Roman singer-songwriter Daniele Silvestri. Born in 1968, and already awarded the Targa Tenco in 1994 for Best Debut Album, over the course of his long career he has managed to win over a broad and diverse audience, thanks to the unique blend of irony and social engagement that unmistakably defines his songs.
From Sanremo Music Festival to several editions of the Concerto del Primo Maggio, not to mention Havana, as well as his work in theatre, his collaboration with Emergency, and live performances with Niccolò Fabi, Max Gazzè, Rkomi, Bandabardò and many others, Silvestri is now an essential reference point in Italian singer-songwriter music.
The setting for this year’s concert will be an enchanting corner of the Val di Fassa, above Canazei, a key transit point for hiking in the area, where visitors can admire the characteristic basalt waterfalls.
