Located at an altitude of 2,200 metres, Tresca is a small mountain area in the Cornacci group, in the heart of the Latemar Dolomites ski area.
Here, every view is a spectacle: in the foreground rise the Dolomites, with the Latemar massif and the majestic Pale di San Martino, while farther away unfolds the wild Lagorai Range and, for those who love legendary peaks, the iconic Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites.
In summer, Tresca is an oasis of peace and pure mountain air, perfect for those who love walking and immersing themselves in nature. In winter, the area comes alive with skiers and snow enthusiasts, thanks to its privileged position in the heart of the Dolomites ski resort.

Did you know?
Tresca, located at around 2,000 metres in the Latemar group, is an area of great geological interest. Around 240 million years ago, Latemar was a tropical atoll surrounded by the sea. Today, it can be seen as a white limestone mountain that still preserves the shape of the ancient island.
Nearby Mount Agnello, on the other hand, is made up of dark volcanic rocks, formed by an eruption that took place around 238 million years ago.
The eruption buried the tropical vegetation, creating a “Triassic Pompeii” containing fossils of ferns, conifers and cycads. These remarkable finds are now preserved at the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
