Magnificent in winter, with its blanket of snow covering the pastures, the towering Swiss stone pines, and the mountain huts, and equally enchanting in summer, with its lush green meadows set against the Lagorai mountain range and the Pale di San Martino, Malga Canvere is the ideal setting to host an artist who comes from far away—indeed, from one of the most “remote” places on the planet, at least in our imagination: Alaska.
Quinn Christopherson is a singer-songwriter from Anchorage, the youngest of four children born to Native parents (the Athabascan and Iñupiaq peoples). From an early age, he told stories through poetry, but it was at the age of 20 that he discovered music, thanks to a guitar given to him by his father. With this instrument, he brought his ethereal and melancholic melodies to the public, building a solid artistic path. In 2022, he released Write Your Name in Pink, retracing his life experiences among family, friends, neighborhood, personal growth, and the shaping of his identity, including gender identity.
In his concerts, the magic of music blends perfectly with that of the natural surroundings.
