Winner of the “Révélation” category at the French Victoires de la Musique Classique in 2016, Lucienne Renaudin Vary is a young classical trumpeter—also widely appreciated in jazz—who has received numerous awards, including the Opus Klassik Award and the Leonard Bernstein Award. She has released five albums with Warner Classics and regularly performs with major orchestras and at international festivals, with a repertoire ranging from Chopin to Dvořák, from Mozart to Haydn, and from Bernstein to Gershwin.
For I Suoni delle Dolomiti, she will let the notes of her trumpet resonate in Sagron Mis, one of the smallest and most remote municipalities from Trentino’s provincial capital—a peaceful corner just a short distance from San Martino di Castrozza and Fiera di Primiero, surrounded by imposing Dolomite peaks.
Here, where the Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino Natural Park meets the Belluno Dolomites National Park, she will perform with Félicien Brut, an accordionist who brings the sound of his instrument around the world both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. An outstanding duo combining virtuosity, passion, and creative freedom, offering the audience a truly unique experience.
