All Seems Beautiful
A highly recommended destination for anyone wishing to admire the Brenta group from the opposite side of the Campiglio basin—namely from the slopes of the Presanella—Rifugio Viviani Pradalago, overlooking a charming small lake, can be easily reached by the lifts of the Pradalago area. During the summer season it is also the starting point for more demanding hikes toward Cima Zeledria, Tre Laghi, Lago Scuro, and other destinations within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
It is here that eight exceptional voices will arrive, trained within the artistic and educational project of VOCES8, the British ensemble founded in 2003 by brothers Paul and Barnaby Smith, both former choristers of Westminster Abbey. Eight young singers who will lead the audience on a broad and boundless sonic journey, crossing centuries and musical languages, bringing into dialogue the European choral tradition and contemporary musical sensibility.
The VOCES8 Scholars programme offers a diverse repertoire that includes English and European Renaissance music, traditional folk songs, classic jazz, and pop, moving naturally from the Renaissance polyphony of Palestrina, Tallis, and Gabrieli to more recent works by Whitacre, Gjeilo, and Panufnik, and even to refined, essential reinterpretations of twentieth-century pieces—where singing becomes storytelling, breath, and space.
