Mario Brunello and Gilles Apap

TREKKING

An extraordinary trek through the Pale di San Martino with two master musicians

The traditional “musical trekking” of I Suoni delle Dolomiti will this year take place in the Pale di San Martino, a massif that has been part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

In this stunning setting—between San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle, and the Primiero-Vanoi area—two exceptional musicians will perform: Mario Brunello, the festival’s long-time artistic director, accompanied by his 17th-century cello, and French violinist Gilles Apap, a virtuoso equally at ease with classical repertoire, jazz, and folk music.

An extraordinary pairing to fully savor the joy of exploring some of the most beautiful trails in the Alps.
