Celebrate Europe with a grand finale of three exceptional concerts.

The closing event of the 30th anniversary of I Suoni delle Dolomiti  is a trilogy of exceptional concerts with a common theme: Europe, a reality, an aspiration and a dream that we must continue to nurture—and the Val di Fassa, surrounded by some of the most famous mountains in Trentino and in the Dolomites: Rosengarten, Marmolada, Monzoni-Costabella.

Throughout the valley, young musicians from all over Europe will live an unforgettable experience: a one-week musical residency in the presence of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They will also perform for the public: the wind section of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) will give a chamber concert at the Rifugio Vajolet and then join the strings of the Accademia Stauffer for a performance of Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony at the Rifugio Fuciade, conducted by Jean Christophe Spinosi. The Thumòs Quartet, made up of students from the Milan Conservatory who have also honed their skills at the Stauffer Academy, will be performing at the Rifugio Contrin.

In other words, three unmissable events with some of Europe’s best young classical and chamber music performers to celebrate – in memory of its creator, Paolo Manfrini – the thirtieth anniversary of an event, I suoni delle Dolomiti, that is truly “without borders”, just like today’s Europe. Over the years, this event has brought together classical, jazz, folk, pop and other music lovers on the paths of Trentino, always trying to cultivate an idea of beauty that draws its life and inspiration from the mountain landscape. A new kind of event when it was first held, bold and innovative, it has since become a source of inspiration for other festivals that have sprung up all over the place, respecting nature and never distorting the places where they are held. An event that wants to continue its journey, right at the heart of Europe, a corner of the world that believes in the value of art and culture.
